1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account (email address, username), save songs, or upgrade to a creator account. We also collect usage data such as songs identified, songs saved, and sharing activity.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and improve EarWorm, send transactional emails (account confirmation, creator onboarding), process payments via Stripe, and show you relevant content in your feed. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Song recognition data

When you use the song identification feature, audio is captured from your microphone and sent to our song recognition provider (ACRCloud) for matching. Audio clips are not stored permanently. Only the resulting song match metadata is stored.

4. Data sharing

We share your data with Supabase (database and auth infrastructure), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), and ACRCloud (song recognition). Each provider processes your data under their own privacy policies.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at privacy@earworm.network. You may also delete your account directly from your account settings.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Children

EarWorm is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at privacy@earworm.network and we will delete the account.
