Where to send DMCA notices

Send copyright notices and counter-notices to dmca@earworm.network. We review every notice that includes the information required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).

Notice of claimed infringement

To file a DMCA takedown notice, provide the following to dmca@earworm.network: 1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed 2. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location on EarWorm (URL) 3. Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email) 4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law 5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner 6. Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-notification

If material you posted was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to dmca@earworm.network with the required information under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).

Repeat infringers

EarWorm will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

EarWorm is a song discovery and sharing platform. We do not host audio files. Song recognition is provided via licensed third-party APIs. We take copyright compliance seriously and respond promptly to valid DMCA notices.
