Open-source licenses
Last updated: August 23, 2026
EarWorm is built on open-source software. These are the runtime dependencies it ships with, and the licenses they carry.
Runtime dependencies
next — MIT react — MIT react-dom — MIT @supabase/supabase-js — MIT @supabase/ssr — MIT stripe — MIT @stripe/stripe-js — MIT resend — MIT lucide-react — ISC server-only — MIT
Fonts
Bricolage Grotesque, Outfit, and IBM Plex Mono are served from Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Services we call
These are commercial services rather than open-source components, listed here because they process data on our behalf:
ACRCloud — audio recognition. Receives the few seconds of audio you record when identifying a song. Apple iTunes Search API — public metadata lookup for album artwork and preview audio. Receives a song title and artist, no user data. Supabase — database and authentication. Stripe — payments. Resend — transactional email. Vercel — hosting.
Full license texts
Every license above is reproduced in full inside its package under node_modules, and each is available from the package's own repository.
If you need a copy of a specific license text and cannot retrieve it, email support@earworm.network and we will send it.
